Sapient Gurgaon carries drive for Underprivileged Children

Volunteers from the Gurgaon office of Sapient has carried out a collection drive of toys, games and other sports equipment for donation to Butterflies, an NGO that works for the benefit of destitute and underprivileged children of Delhi and NCR region.

Commemorating the Sports Day celebration organised by Butterflies, members of the India Leadership Team, along with other volunteers handed over the collection at a function held at the India Gate, attended by over 200 children and the members of the NGO. This joint initiative will benefit around 500 underprivileged children who have limited or no access to any kind of toys.

Pawan Vaswani, Director & Office Lead of Sapient Gurgaon said, "Sapient takes its responsibility as a global citizen to heart and has a focussed initiative on giving back to the society. It is a matter of immense contentment to partner with Butterflies for this noble initiative to make a difference in the lives of the less privileged children. DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
