Emma Yeng, Director, Taipei World Trade Center, Mumbai said, "New-age technology adds an extra dimension to travel, and more and more people want to explore the world with gadgets they are accustomed to at home. The Bureau of Foreign Trade, Taiwan (BOFT) and TAITRA are overwhelmed with the response to our IT Travelers Go! Programme launched in August 2011. It's been a very busy month for us and difficult for us to arrive at these four winners from the 2317 entries we received from across the country. These four have gone through three rounds of elimination to emerge as winners representing India in the global leg of the program. They will now compete with the teams from Vietnam and Indonesia and I am sure all of you want them to prove that India is the Best! I encourage all you netizens across the country to vote for the Indian team. Your votes will not only help the Indian team, but can also give you a chance to win prizes sponsored by our leading Brand Partners. Selected participants will be handed a resourceful IT Travelers Kit consisting of 17 Taiwanese ICT gadgets that will enable them to communicate with their friends, followers and post blogs."
