ViewSonic launches Multimedia Projector – PRO 8400

ViewSonic India has launched the new HD multimedia projector - Pro8400. ViewSonic Pro8400 is an advanced high brightness and HD DLP projector which includes Brilliant Color technology to produce more vibrant colours.

The Pro8400 delivers 4000 lumens with a 1920x1080 (1080p) image resolution. The Pro8400 comes with a wide 1.5X optical zoom adjustment and a multitude of connectivity options including Network Display, USB, and WiFi.

Pro 8400 comes with a dual HDMI, component, and S-video inputs. With its Wi Fi facility, present up to 8 projectors at the same time or allow up to 4 presenters to connect to a single projector over wireless or RJ45. The Pro 8400 uses the Eco-mode to achieve lower power consumption, reduce overall noise and extend lamp life. Filterless design saves cost and maintenance.

The product is available at the price of Rs.1,25,000 in India.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
