HP opens HP World Store in Bangalore

HP India has inaugurated its exclusive HP World store in Bangalore. This store will showcase the entire portfolio of HP consumer products including laptops, desktops, All-in-Ones, printers and accessories, with special product demonstrations.

The store will display HP's strong product portfolio including the entire range of desktop PCs including Touchsmart, HP Omni, Compaq 1000 Domino, Compaq 3600 Series and HP Pavilion series. It is being launched in association with Keerthi Infosystems, a valued HP World Partner since 2009.

Rajiv Srivastava, Vice President and General Manager, Personal Systems Group, Hewlett-Packard India Sales Pvt. Ltd, said, "We are delighted to announce the opening of this exclusive HP showroom in Bangalore. We are the market leader in Karnataka and this store reiterates our commitment to offer the best products and services to our customers and we aim to launch more such state-of-the-art stores in the coming year."

With this store, HP will have 19 exclusive HP retail stores in the city, which the company aims to expand to 50 by 2012. The HP World store will display the entire range of products and will have special demo sessions for the latest HP technology like Beats Audio and True Vision HD Webcam.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
