IT Travelers Go!

Silicon Power (SP) has sponsored "IT Travelers Go" campaign held by Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) which is now in the third round of the contest. Twelve contestants chosen from six thousand participants have started their 21-day free trip across Asia. These IT Traveler contestants were given SP custom-made miniature figurines and Unique 530 USB flash drives for them to record their personal memories throughout the trip.

"IT Travelers Go!" is a regional campaign aims to awaken people's desire to IT lifestyles and premium ICT products from Taiwan. Competing for the final cash prize of US$20,000, the twelve contestants are now in the third round with a 21-day sponsored trip to major Asian cities of Jakarta, New Delhi and Ha Noi. The contestants are equipped with a variety of innovative products of Taiwan's leading brands and are assigned the task to demonstrate to the world the magical powers of Taiwan ICT excellence.

As a result, the company frequently wins the Taiwan Excellence Award held by TAITRA. The Unique 530 USB flash drive, carried by the contestants, is made from the eco-friendly silica gel material in a sporty style with a metal hook that is able to withstand up to 10 kgs of force. The lidless design, dustproof and waterproof functions are more suitable for all kinds of requirements for outdoor activities, especially while travelling.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
