SafeNet appoints its new Senior VP, Worldwide Sales

SafeNet has appointed Steve Messick to the position of Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Messick is to serve as a strategic leader for SafeNet's global sales, and is said to serve as an integral part of SafeNet's senior leadership team.

In his new role leading SafeNet's worldwide sales team, Messick replaces Philip Saunders, who has recently been promoted to executive vice president and Chief Revenue Officer. Saunders is now responsible for continuing to drive and expand SafeNet's success through a holistic revenue strategy that focuses on maximizing the value of the organization with a customer-centric approach. Saunders will take leadership of sales, business development, marketing, product management, customer service, operations and fulfillment. As Chief Revenue Officer, Saunders will be responsible for establishing SafeNet's long-term strategies for revenue generation as well as ensuring alignment of the organization from strategic planning to customer delivery.
