Samsung launches MultiView MV800 Camera

Samsung has launched the Samsung MultiView MV800 digital camera. With this launch, the Company is pioneering a new "MultiView"category in response to evolving consumer demand for maximum flexibility and creativity.

The MultiView MV800 camera offers 16.1 MP, along with a 5x optical zoom lens and 26mm wide-angle lens to capture premium picture quality. Moreover, by simply connecting the Samsung MultiView MV800 to 3D HDTV, images and panoramic shots can be viewed in 3D in-depth quality instantly. The Smart Touch 3.0 with Wallpaper user interface ensures highly intuitive operation to save your fingers the effort, allowing you to drag and scroll through menu options to launch the required feature with only one touch.

MultiView MV800 Smart Filter feature allows users to express their own creativity, through a menu of 14 artistic effects. This camera automatically searches out and captures two other strong images at different zoom ratios, when a wide-angle shot is taken, giving three great photos with one simple click. The MultiView MV800 also features built-in Pose Guide function, Flip-out MultiView Display and the Storyboard Maker. The built-in Pose Guide function advises users on the ideal position for a photograph through line drawings on the LCD screen, while the Storyboard Maker enables users to prepare a storyboard from the images they have shot by simply selecting the layout, and then placing the photos in order. And the easy-to-navigate Photo Editor and Beauty Shot feature enable user to edit or rotate the images.

The Samsung MV800 is priced at Rs.15,990. With the introduction of MV800, Samsung has a range of 12 models priced between Rs.5,490 and Rs.15,990.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications.
