SICT Mobiles brings iV156 Dual SIM Device

SICT Mobiles has launched a new dual SIM iV 156 handset to its range of high end -dual SIM phones creating new price points for end users with one year warranty. The Company is to venture across India with its new phones.

The device catalogues features like dual band that can support both GSM Bands 900 and 1800 available in all parts of India. It is enabled with dual languages Hindi and English written on the bigger key pad. It also has 2.4 inch (6.1 cm) QVGA (320x240 pixels) Big LCD for videos and 1.3 Mp camera with 1280x960 pixel. It is said to be a fully multimedia phone which plays all major audio formats MP3/WAV/MIDI/AMR, Dual Speakers for best sound quality 22x35 and 15x24. The Sound Recorder can record up to 8GB memory card capacity, a video player which can play all major video formats: Avi, MP4 and 3GP with 20 fps (Frames per seconds) quality. It also support wireless FM with fine reception quality. Users can play FM on earphone as well as on speaker. One can also protect the major data like the call history, messages, and phonebook and memory card contents by putting passwords to each. This Bluetooth enabled device supports A2DP so that the users can listen to music on the Bluetooth headset.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
