ASUS unveils ZENBOOK UX31

ASUS Technology has unveiled ZENBOOK available in 11.6-inch and 13.3-inch varieties. It utilizes ASUS' Super Hybrid Engine II technology, which conserves battery life and allows the ZENBOOK to have up to 25 percent more battery life than other Ultrabook designs.

The ZENBOOK features Intel second-generation Core processors (optimized for mobile use), SATA Revision 3.0 solid state storage of 256GB (SSD), Bluetooth V4.0 and USB 3.0. ASUS has also added USB charger and technology, which uses the powered USB 3.0 port to recharge portable device pretty fast. To accommodate all of these technologies, ASUS engineers designed custom cooling technology using a V shaped channel with a copper finish design for improved airflow and cooling. When battery life dips below 5 percent, the ZENBOOK will automatically save files in progress to prevent data loss.

ZENBOOK is also equipped with ASUS SonicMaster technology, an optimized fusion of hardware and software developed by the ASUS Golden Ear team and Bang & Olufsen ICEpower.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications.
