EMC Documentum leads in Enterprise Content Management

EMC Corporation has announced that Forrester Research Inc. has positioned EMC Documentum as a Leader in its November 2011 report, "The Forrester Wave: Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Q4 2011."

Forrester identified EMC Documentum as a Leader for offering true enterprise-class solutions and delivering a comprehensive suite of ECM functionality that addresses all aspects of the four ECM technology areas, providing a one-stop shop for ECM functionality from a single vendor.

In recognizing Documentum as a Leader, the report states, "EMC is a legacy player that has long been at the forefront of the ECM market, with a broad range of capabilities and strengths, particularly in its document management support. EMC offers a suite of ECM technologies packaged to deliver solutions for case management, information governance, and traditional content management."

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
