Fujitsu selects Wind River for Android Testing

Wind River has announced that Fujitsu is using Wind River Framework for Automated Software Testing (FAST) to test its next-generation Android smartphones for software quality, performance and compliance. Wind River FAST for Android is a fully automated software testing solution for Android-based devices that facilitates lower testing costs and faster time-to-market for device manufacturers.

Japan's Sharp to buy Toshiba PC business for $36 mln

As per the report, Sharp Corporation of Japan to buy Toshiba Corp’s personal computer business for 4 billion yen ($36 million). Sharp brand is under the control of manufacturing giant Foxconn, the world’s biggest contract manufacturer and major Apple Inc supplier, to produce PCs more cheaply – just as it was able to do in TVs.
