KINGMAX rolls out two new USB 3.0 Flash Drives

KINGMAX has launched two UD-09 USB 3.0 flash drives. UD-09 comes in grey and piano black with plating in the middle, whereas PD-09 comes in pink and mist grey colour with scratch- resistant design. The two flash drives are available in 4GB/8GB/16GB/32GB.

To cater to different market segments, KINGMAX has created new UD-09 and PD-09, the former with the read speed at 90-99MB/sec and write speed at up to 13-23MB/sec, after the launch of Elite series ED-01 flash drive in May 2011. The high-speed UD-09 was designed for urban dwellers. The entry-level PD-09 caters to the most majority with the read speed at 50-66MB /sec and write speed at up to 7-11MB /sec outperforming USB2.0.

Moreover, KINGMAX new UD-09, PD-09 USB3.0 flash drive meets the RoHS regulations and were certified by Microsoft Windows 7, CE, and FCC compatible with USB2.0.

Japan's Sharp to buy Toshiba PC business for $36 mln

As per the report, Sharp Corporation of Japan to buy Toshiba Corp’s personal computer business for 4 billion yen ($36 million). Sharp brand is under the control of manufacturing giant Foxconn, the world’s biggest contract manufacturer and major Apple Inc supplier, to produce PCs more cheaply – just as it was able to do in TVs. Another report also noticed by VARINDIA, Foxconn is also promoting the Sharp TV to start marketing in India, which has kick started from this year IPL(Indian Premiere League) ,with this they are marking a return to a business in India.
