MSI unveils complete compatibility list of e-sports mouse support with ClickBIOS II

MSI has optimized UEFI BIOS support for e-sports mice from four brands, Razer, SteelSeries, Logitech, and Microsoft. With this total solution for all Intel Z68 (G3) mainboards, MSI overcame the USB mouse lag problem in UEFI BIOS. Also, MSI is increasing the thickness of the gold-plated layer in the 2-in-1 PS2 and optimized USB ports to 30um in all future MSI mainboards to meet the demand of professional gamers.

Compatibility problems between professional e-sports mice and UEFI BIOS There are comprehensive games on the market. As different types of games require different strategies, e-sports mice are usually equipped with more than a dozen buttons for professional users to customize the function of individual buttons and program the macro and script settings according to the game's needs. There are also buttons supporting running fire function, sensitivity (DPI) configuration, response time adjustment, etc. Some even provide the memory function for gamers to store personal settings of their mice. To optimize these functionally comprehensive e-sports mice, different manufacturers will use different communication protocols and drivers. As a result, compatibility problems with UEFI BIOS in standard mode of these professional e-sports mice arise due to communication complexity, and mouse performance is affected.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
