NEC supports for Earthquake Recovery in Turkey

NEC has announced that NEC and its group companies will donate funds totaling more than 5 million Japanese yen to help relief and recovery efforts in communities affected by the earthquake that struck eastern Turkey on October 23.

The NEC Group and its employees express their sincere condolences for those personally impacted by the earthquake and hope for the fast recovery of the people and areas affected by the disaster.

Japan's Sharp to buy Toshiba PC business for $36 mln

As per the report, Sharp Corporation of Japan to buy Toshiba Corp’s personal computer business for 4 billion yen ($36 million). Sharp brand is under the control of manufacturing giant Foxconn, the world’s biggest contract manufacturer and major Apple Inc supplier, to produce PCs more cheaply – just as it was able to do in TVs. Another report also noticed by VARINDIA, Foxconn is also promoting the Sharp TV to start marketing in India, which has kick started from this year IPL(Indian Premiere League) ,with this they are marking a return to a business in India. Earlier Sharp was a known brand in terms of technology but it’s position become negligible with the fastest technology and pricing structure of SAMSUNG, LG and Sony.
