Samsung brings GALAXY Note for the Indian Market

Samsung has launched the revolutionary GALAXY Note in the Indian market. It features 5.3" HD Super AMOLED display, an advanced pen-input technology, called the Smart Pen that combines with GALAXY Note's full touchscreen.

The incorporated digital Smart Pen can be used for sketching and artwork, while handwriting recognition allows ideas to be freely captured and shared with other devices without the need to perform any additional digitization. Handwritten text is accurately converted into digital characters.

"GALAXY Note is a revolutionary product that seeks to open a new category in the mobile industry. While the Galaxy Note's large screen provides a beautiful, immersive viewing experience, the touchscreen and advanced Smart Pen interface allows users to sketch, write, create and share more than ever before from one device. Based on its unique combination of connected and creative freedom, Samsung GALAXY Note redefines and enhances the mobile communication by offering a more advanced, productive and creative user experience than ever before," said Ranjit Yadav, Country Head, Samsung Mobile & IT.

Samsung has included the S Planner, a professional planning tool in the Galaxy Note that makes full use of the device's large screen and advanced user-interface. The management planner integrates the phone's To-Do tool and schedule application, allowing simple drag and drop functionality between the two apps; control and navigation is intuitive.
