Steel Saving Software Products from RGS

RGS Construction Technologies Pvt. Ltd. develops and market software products for the Global construction industry. RGS was primarily offering Design and Detailed engineering consultancy services globally for reinforcement steel, concrete and structural steel. Consultancy was also offered for Shop fabrication and management of steel in the construction sites. RGS is now offering software products for "Saving Steel " in the Infrastructure, Industrial and Real Estate Construction projects. RGS's global head quarters is in Chennai and has an office in U.K.

RGS REBAR, the detailing software is being used by Tamilnadu Polytechnics's as a part of their Syllabus. RGS REBAR/QUICK BBS/REBAR SITE are already selling in the Indian market and companies like L&T, NPCIL, LEIGHTON WELSPUN, P&L ENGINEERING, VRC Constructions , LODHA, VALECHA, DIVYASRI, ECCIL,COROMONDAL ENGINEERING, VASCON, AJMIRA, BABTECH, POTENTIAL ENGINEERING, DESIGN TREE etc. use them on their projects. GKS Readymade Steel, Chennai uses RGS REBAR SHOP in their Hi-tech Rebar Fabrication factory to produce Ready made Cut & Bend Steel.

RGS is also launching an Indigenous 3D modeling CAD system for "Building Information Modeling "(BIM), in the early 2012. RGS is targeting to sell its steel saving, Detailed engineering software products to more than 300,000 Contractors/Builders/Engineering consultants across India. RGS is launching an ADP (Authorized Dealer Partner) program PAN India and is looking out for appointing dynamic partners who are interested to participate in a large size software market with an estimated potential of 75 Billion Rupees.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery. The favourable impact of M2M on job creation had already set in as seen by the arrival of the first set of start-ups in the areas such as agriculture, smart cities, healthcare and water management.” She stressed that NTP 2018 would be transformative in harnessing the full benefits of M2M communications.
