Symantec rolls out new Managed Service Provider strategy

Symantec has unveiled its Managed Service Provider (MSP) strategy, designed to make it easier and more cost-effective for partners to deliver Symantec's market-leading backup and security solutions as managed services.

Through new and expanded integration with remote monitoring and management (RMM) platforms and new cloud-based offerings, Symantec is helping partners deliver and manage multiple products and services while minimizing added overhead costs. Symantec's MSP strategy also includes the ExSP Licensing Programme, a pay-as-you-go subscription licensing model designed for service providers.

"Symantec is committed to providing our partners with programmes designed to help them grow their business. With this announcement, we are empowering them to offer Symantec's trusted solutions though flexible deployment options. Our partners now can offer differentiated services to their customers, giving them the flexibility of choice," said Ajay Goel, Managing Director (India & SAARC), Symantec.
