Daffodil Software plans to release Product Extensions

Daffodil Software is planning to come up with a new section on its website for demonstrating some of its product extensions. These extensions would be available to the community 100% free of cost. Daffodil intends to develop extensions for most of the products it has expertise around.

In the same series extensions for popular e-commerce platform Magento is the first pick. Magento is claimed to be a popular e-commerce platform due to its intuitive administration interface which contains powerful marketing, merchandising and content management tools, giving merchants the power to create sites that are tailored to their unique business needs. It is said to offer merchants complete flexibility and control over the look, content, and functionality of their online store. On the Magento side, Daffodil has designed many effective modules and extensions for their client which enhances the basic functionality of Magento based e-commerce sites.

Sachin Garg, Director, Strategy & Business Development, said, "This is just a start and we decided to get started with Magento because of the growing demand for new features on the e-commerce sites. We will be releasing extensions for more products in near future and the complete set of extensions will be available on our website in the new year."

In the beta phase, some of the extensions developed by Daffodil are already available on Magento Extension market place: Price Slider; Banner Slider; Facebook Like button.
