Edimax unveils EW-7711UAn 150Mbps Wireless High-Gain USB Adapter in India

EDIMAX Technology has launched EW-7711UAn 150Mbps Wireless High-Gain USB Adapter in India.

This Edimax wireless adapter is said to allow increased wireless coverage and higher data transmission rates. The latest wireless technology is built into this device to broaden its wireless coverage and to reduce dead spots within the wireless range. It complies with wireless IEEE 802.11b/g/n standards and can reach data transmission rates of up to 150Mbps when connected to wireless 802.11n devices. It also extends its wireless signal distance, and provides more reliable wireless connections than standard IEEE 802.11b/g wireless networks. This Edimax wireless adapter has a built-in 3dBi high-gain antenna, which enables it to achieve better signal quality compared to common wireless adapters. The included hardwire USB cable also allows users to easily adjust the wireless adapter's angle and placement for better wireless performance. The Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) button on this Edimax wireless adapter allows for simple, push-button device connection. Simply push the WPS button on this wireless adapter and on a wireless access point.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
