Global Distribution Group strengthens its Indian operations

The Global Distribution Group has announced that it has infused immediate cash and credit facilities to support the Indian operations. With these new infusions, the Company is actively involved in engaging new Vendors in various segments of the IT distribution. The Company is planning to increase its manpower by 30% all over India. The Company is also planning to increase its Upcountry presence by enhancing in country logistics, credit availability and its Partner reach.

"We are a Global Company with a LOCAL MIND. I am quite excited to take over as Managing Director of our Indian subsidiary. We will bring our International experience in IT arena into India, also our Financial resources which combined with our Local expertise will definitely help us to achieve our Mission statement by 2013. As a Group we are also actively pursuing to acquire more IT Companies within India to increase our overall Portfolio," said V.M. Chandra Sekar, Chairman and Managing Director, Global Distribution Group.

The Company recently held its All India Sales Meet in NCR, where more than 200 Company employees participated. This event was attended by Representatives of the Company's Major vendors.

Mahesh Bhalla, Executive Director and General Manager of Dell India graced this event. During this event he also awarded a Certificate of Appreciation recognizing the strong partnership between Dell and Global Infonet and to commemorate the achievement of completing Rs.1,000 Crores turnover .
