HP announces "Refresh Offer" for Designjet Printers

HP announces

HP has announced a "Refresh Offer" for its Design Jet customers in India. The programme will allow the existing customers of Design Jet or comparable A3-size printers to trade up to the Multi-Functional Design Jet range.

The programme allows customers to avail rebate of up to INR50,000 on exchange of their old printer with world-class HP Designjet T2300 e-Multi Function Printer, DSJ T790 and DSJ T1300 e-Printer series. The offer is valid until December 31, 2011.

Japan's Sharp to buy Toshiba PC business for $36 mln

As per the report, Sharp Corporation of Japan to buy Toshiba Corp’s personal computer business for 4 billion yen ($36 million). Sharp brand is under the control of manufacturing giant Foxconn, the world’s biggest contract manufacturer and major Apple Inc supplier, to produce PCs more cheaply – just as it was able to do in TVs. Another report also noticed by VARINDIA, Foxconn is also promoting the Sharp TV to start marketing in India, which has kick started from this year IPL(Indian Premiere League) ,with this they are marking a return to a business in India.
