IEG signs deal with Oracle Academy

The Institute of Electronic Governance (IEG) has signed an agreement to integrate Oracle Academy into the curriculum of 265 colleges in the state, bringing the state-of-the-art technology training programme to over 53,000 students. Under the agreement, students will gain hands-on experience with Oracle's technology to help them develop database design and programming skills.

This collaboration supports the Institute of Electronic Governance's mission to develop a well-trained, highly skilled workforce in Andhra Pradesh. More than 1.5 million students in 95 countries participate in the Oracle Academy globally. In India, over 110,000 students from 376 educational institutions benefit from the Oracle Academy programme.
The Oracle Academy offers a comprehensive programme that helps students gain the vital business and technology skills needed for success in today's workforce. We are honoured to work with IEG to help prepare the students of Andhra Pradesh for careers across every industry, to meet the needs of the Indian economy," said Krishna Sistla, Senior Director, Oracle Education Initiatives, Asia-Pacific.
