NetApp strengthens Mid-Market Product Offerings

NetApp has strengthened its entry product and solutions portfolio for midsize businesses to deliver greater value to both customers and partners. As part of the announcement, NetApp is offering new lower pricing options for both the FAS2040 and FAS2240.

Tom Georgens, President and Chief Executive Officer, NetApp, said, "Midsize businesses are facing unique challenges as a result of increasing business demands and the need to do more with fewer resources. We understand that customers should not be forced to make a tradeoff between affordability and 'good enough' technology. With solutions that are priced and packaged to address this growing market, NetApp is uniquely positioned to help our customers succeed and build a solid foundation that can expand and adapt as their business and priorities change."

Simon Green, Vice President and General Manager, NetApp Asia Pacific, said, "India's mid-market and midsize enterprises are growing and companies continue to look for ways to innovate to stay ahead. A key contributor to the overall economy, mid-sized enterprises demand affordable yet enterprise class IT solutions that also have the ability to scale rapidly. NetApp's new entry level product line delivers uncompromised, affordable and truly unified storage solutions for this emerging segment. NetApp's offerings will help mid-size enterprises make smart IT decisions, protect their investments in the long run, as well as cover the evolving and sometimes unpredictable needs of their business."

The NetApp FAS2000 series systems start at under INR 4, 50,000 and can be ordered through NetApp's network of value-added authorized resellers, distributors, and systems integrators.
