Philips Monitor receives iF Award 2012

MMD has announced that the new Philips Moda line of Monitors was selected for the iF Design Award for 2012. Moreover, MMD has also introduced two monitors to the market this summer.

'We have received an overwhelming response from our customers for the unique combination of design and performance of the Moda Monitors. This recognition by iF reconfirms our commitment to design innovation," said Mayank Christian, Director, Global Product Management, MMD Taiwan.

Philips Moda monitors comes with two 24" and 21.5" widescreen along with Broad connectivity with 2 HDMI ports and SmartTxt and SmartKolor for better viewing experience.

An internationally renowned jury, consisting of 44 design experts, have engaged in a critical discussion and debate to select the winning products. Out of 4,322 entries submitted by 1,605 participants from 48 countries, the jury of iF product design award has selected their 1218 favourites as the best designs for 2012.

All prize-winning products will be presented at iF design exhibition in Hanover, Germany from March 6th until the 10th, 2012 and in Hamburg the second half of 2012. On February 10, 2012, the awards ceremony will take place in Munich, Germany where the 100 Gold Award Winners will be announced.
