SonicWALL rolls Mobile Connect App for iOS

SonicWALL has announced that its Mobile Connect App is now available on the App Store for download to Apple devices. For users of SonicWALL's SSL VPN and Next-Generation Firewall product lines, the new SonicWALL Mobile App is said to enable anytime, anywhere secure remote access and connectivity from Apple devices to all network resources. A single unified SSL VPN client, Mobile Connect is supported across all current SonicWALL Secure Remote Access (SRA) and SonicWALL Aventail E-Class SRA, as well as SonicWALL TZ,Network Security Appliance (NSA), E-Class NSA and SuperMassive E10000 Series firewalls. Mobile Connect runs on iOS 4.2 and higher.

Patrick Sweeney, VP, Product Management & Corporate Marketing, SonicWALL said, "iPads and iPhones have become the overwhelming choice for employees who demand anytime anywhere productivity. Our Mobile Connect App lets companies extend their security policy to meet the stringent needs of enterprise, government and education institutions, while employees travel outside of the protected perimeter. The SonicWALL Mobile Connect App is available for free from the App Store on iPad and iPhone.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
