Wipro ranked as a Global Leader in Testing Services by Ovum

Wipro Technologies has been ranked as a global leader in testing services by Ovum, an independent technology analyst firm, in a report titled "Service Guide: Outsourced Testing - Benchmarking Software and Systems Testing Service Vendors".

The report released in November 2011, benchmarked 13 software and systems testing services providers against 20 key criteria and rated Wipro top for its cost and value, a key differentiator for companies looking to outsource testing services.Srinivas Pallia, Sr. Vice-President & Global Head, Business Application Services, Wipro Technologies, said, "We have invested significantly in our independent testing services offering and have been able to build a strong team with deep industry expertise and understanding of the challenges that our clients face. In the report, Dr. Alexander Simkin, Lead Analyst, Ovum, stated, "Wipro has a testing service that is highly regarded by customers, partners and, grudgingly by competitors," and further added that "Wipro has geared its test processes, delivery models, and innovation towards cost reduction and value generation. DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
