AOC offers its all new USB-LED Monitor

AOC has introduced a new addition to its monitor family- e1649Fwu,15.6" LED USB Monitor in India. The energy efficient USB LED monitor receives power and signal through a solitary USB connection. AOC's LED display technology ensures excellent image quality while minimizing power consumption, drawing just 8 Watts of power.

The monitor comes with a flexi stand that rotates by 90 degree to accommodate portrait or landscape mode and instantly transforms into a digital photo frame or presentation display. The screen features a 1366×768 resolution, 20,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 5ms response time and 200 cd/m2 of brightness. It is supported on Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, and Mac OS X from Tiger onwards.

Japan's Sharp to buy Toshiba PC business for $36 mln

As per the report, Sharp Corporation of Japan to buy Toshiba Corp’s personal computer business for 4 billion yen ($36 million). Sharp brand is under the control of manufacturing giant Foxconn, the world’s biggest contract manufacturer and major Apple Inc supplier, to produce PCs more cheaply – just as it was able to do in TVs. Another report also noticed by VARINDIA, Foxconn is also promoting the Sharp TV to start marketing in India, which has kick started from this year IPL(Indian Premiere League) ,with this they are marking a return to a business in India.
