Aomei intros new Partition Software

Aomei Technology has released a new Partition Assistant 4.0, an ALL-IN-ONE partition manager software and reliable hard disk management tool kit with user-friendly interface and enhanced data protection.

The brand new Partition Assistant 4.0 introduces "Aomei Partition 3+2 Concept" - three innovations, including merge non-contiguous unallocated space to partition, allocate free space from one partition to another and is said to create more partitions as one wish even without unallocated space, and two freeware, including Partition Assistant Home Edition which is said to allow commercial use and Partition Assistant Lite Edition which supports Windows Server operating systems.

New Aomei Partition Assistant 4.0 claims to keep all the features of the previous version as well, such as resize/move, create, delete, format partition, copy disk & partition and wipe data, etc. In addition to "Aomei Partition 3+2 Concept", the latest version adds new features including: Merge two partitions without data loss; Split one big partition into two or more; Convert primary partition to logical and vice versa; Improved algorithm to ensure a faster & safer process of resizing/moving partition; Support GPT disk up to 4TB and USB flash drive; and Compatible with Windows 8

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery. The favourable impact of M2M on job creation had already set in as seen by the arrival of the first set of start-ups in the areas such as agriculture, smart cities, healthcare and water management.” She stressed that NTP 2018 would be transformative in harnessing the full benefits of M2M communications.
