Axis Communications names Sudhindra Holla as Country manager for Indian operations

Axis Communications has announced the appointment of Sudhindra Holla, as the new country manager for its Indian operations. In his new role, Holla will lead Axis Communications' operations in India, driving business strategy in addition to overlooking sales and marketing verticals. Holla is believed to place considerable emphasis on channel development to expand the reach of Axis' products and services in the country. Under his leadership, the Axis India team will continue to tap India's growing physical security market and drive the ongoing shift to IP-based surveillance.

Holla said, "As a pioneer in network based surveillance, I believe that Axis Communications is best positioned to leverage the growing IP surveillance market in India. I am excited to be a part of Axis Communications and hope to play a pivotal role in taking the company to new heights in India."

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
