BigFlicks announces Online Movie on Demand Service

BigFlicks, a part of Reliance Group's Digital Entertainment Business, has announced the launch of online Movie on Demand service BigFlix plus, which is supposed to let the user just click and play a catalogue of over 500 movies at a subscription fee across PC, Tablets and BIGFLIX plus is a user's Personal Blockbuster Theatre, which allows the user to stream and download HD quality content for a subscription fee of Rs.249 per month.

Manish Agarwal, COO, Digital Business, Reliance Entertainment, said, "BIGFlix plus is the first movies on demand subscription service, which offers a vast choice of HD Quality movies to the net-savvy Movie Buffs in India, at their convenience, across all Internet connected devices. We are looking at replicating a 'NetFlix' in India, In order to provide this world-class experience, Reliance entertainment has hugely invested in developing the movies on demand ecosystem spanning across product, distribution and content."

BigFlix plus is said to offer an extensive HD Quality movie library across Hindi, English, and several regional languages. Subscribers can now avail movies across a wide spectrum ranging from Paa to Bheja Fry or Blockbuster like Dabaang or Singham at a mere click of a button.
