Edimax rolls out NVR-4 2-Bay 4CH Network Video recorder

EDIMAX has launched the NVR-4 2-Bay 4CH Network Video Recorder. The Edimax NVR-4 is said to be capable of simultaneous live video monitoring with up to 4 high-definition megapixel network cameras. It is said to support continuous, scheduled and motion-triggered video recording modes in H.264, MPEG-4, and M-JPEG video formats.

The Edimax NVR-4 has a gigabit (10/100/1000Mbps) Ethernet port and 2 hard drive bays with storage capacity support of up to 4TB. With gigabit Ethernet connectivity, the NVR-4 allows for fast and smooth live monitoring and high-definition network video recording performance. Its removable hard drive design also allows for easy storage upgrade and maintenance.

Japan's Sharp to buy Toshiba PC business for $36 mln

As per the report, Sharp Corporation of Japan to buy Toshiba Corp’s personal computer business for 4 billion yen ($36 million). Sharp brand is under the control of manufacturing giant Foxconn, the world’s biggest contract manufacturer and major Apple Inc supplier, to produce PCs more cheaply – just as it was able to do in TVs. Another report also noticed by VARINDIA, Foxconn is also promoting the Sharp TV to start marketing in India, which has kick started from this year IPL(Indian Premiere League) ,with this they are marking a return to a business in India.
