GIGABYTE rolls out lucrative scheme for partners

GIGABYTE has launched channel-friendly edition of its GIGABYTE Value Partner Program (GVPP). The online Q1 2012 GVPP that is valid till March 31, 2012, is open only for registered reseller partners who buy GIGABYTE motherboards (any model) from the company's authorized distributors and GIGABYTE Premium Partners.

Also, partners can earn more points by purchasing higher end motherboards. The validity period of the GVPP points is one year from the day one earns the points. Moreover, points earned before 2011 will be valid till December 31, 2012.

Sunil Grewal, Sales Head - India, GIGABYTE Technology (India) said, "By including all GIGABYTE motherboard models under the scheme, we intend to reward as many partners as possible, who would like to deal in GIGABYTE motherboards. This new scheme will also benefit resellers in the upcountry market, who generally don't purchase in huge numbers. Whereas, resellers in the established markets / metro cities can dramatically improve their RoI by purchasing more high-end GIGABYTE motherboard models."

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
