HP 3D Innovations for Consumers

HP has unveiled a new portfolio of 3D innovations for consumers. The new HP TouchSmart 3D Edition PC will bring the thrill of 3D entertainment to life, and let users enjoy an expanded realm of 3D experiences all within their home environment.

"HP's latest 3D technologies are designed to make the interaction between people and technology more intuitive and rewarding. For consumers who seek an incredible 3D technology experience in the comfort of their home, the new HP TouchSmart 3D Edition PCoffers an all-in-one hub of fun and entertainment in an ideal combination of form and function. Users can create their own 3D videos and pictures with the TouchSmart's built-in webcam and share them with family and friends online or via the PC's 23-inch (58.4 cm) diagonal Full HD display. The TriDef Ignition Game Player allows everyone in the family to enjoy playing their favourite games in 3D.

Featuring an intuitive and ergonomic design, the TouchSmart 3D Edition reclines up to 60 degrees, enabling users to adjust the display's position for a comfortable experience or reduce glare while viewing 3D content with the Active Shutter 3D Glasses.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery. The favourable impact of M2M on job creation had already set in as seen by the arrival of the first set of start-ups in the areas such as agriculture, smart cities, healthcare and water management.” She stressed that NTP 2018 would be transformative in harnessing the full benefits of M2M communications.
