Indian Universities offers IBM System z Mainframe training

IBM has announced that three of India's top universities focusing on IT education - the Anna University, Chennai, Madurai Kamraj University, Madurai and the RCC Institute of Information Technology, Kolkata are conducting training on IBM System Mainframe as part of their curriculum. The program is believed to equip the next generation of Mainframe experts.

Sreenath Chary, VP, Mainframe Platform, India South Asia, IBM said, "With a growing need for enterprise computing and Mainframes, the timing of this initiative is perfect. Our effort to take IBM System z Mainframe technology training to students has received a great response so far. With three of the top technology institutions in India adopting this as part of their curriculum, IBM is contributing to the Mainframe ecosystem with a good pipeline of top talent."
