UAE online spending reaches US$2bn

A recent survey has revealed that the UAE leads the way for the region for online spending, reaching nearly US$2 billion, equating to around 60% of the total GCC spend. Total spend for the region is expected to reach US$5bn by the end of 2011. KSA and Qatar were said to be second and third in total spend, with $520m and $375m respectively.
