EGATE rolls out New Projector for Home & SOHO

In order to strengthen its consumer lineup, EGATE has launched new model christened P316. This new projector is targeted and designed keeping in mind SOHO and home customer.

"EGATE is very proud and delighted to announce the launch of this all new projector meant to break all price barriers. We are ambitious with this new launch and look forward to create all new consumer segments. P316 is a fusion between office and home, combining both the qualities of office effectiveness by having 800 x 600 SVGA native resolution and that of home by having HDMI, sound and speaker in-built. With the increasing demand from the home segment, it was but imperative for us to come up with a specific product for the segment. With a price band of sub-Rs.20k for consumers, it is bound to create a stir in this segment," said Amit Priyadarshi, Director, Egate Infotel India.

"Pioneering consumer segment and bidding goodbye to expensive lamp replacements with LED-based projectors, we are looking at creating a new segment in the projector market by delivering visual to the HOME THEATRE concept in the country," Priyadarshi further stated.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery. The favourable impact of M2M on job creation had already set in as seen by the arrival of the first set of start-ups in the areas such as agriculture, smart cities, healthcare and water management.” She stressed that NTP 2018 would be transformative in harnessing the full benefits of M2M communications.
