EMC Isilon Scale-Out NAS System with Native Hadoop Support

EMC Corporation has announced that EMC Isilon scale-out NAS with HDFS, combined with EMC Greenplum HD. This new enterprise-ready solution combines scale-out NAS data storage and Hadoop analytics capabilities with services, training and certification, and customer support from a single vendor, ensuring a more seamless user experience. With this solution, EMC eliminates CIOs' need to spend valuable time investigating and integrating products from multiple vendors.

EMC Isilon scale-out NAS, now integrated with the Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS) protocol, provides customers with a solution for accelerating enterprise-wide deployment of Apache-based Hadoop. DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications.
