Freelancer.in arrives in India
Freelancer.com has launched its Indian website, Freelancer.in - bringing localised features and enabling users to work in Indian Rupees. Users can post projects, tasks, and jobs for users around the world to complete.
Matt Barrie, CEO, Freelancer.com said, "With a third of our user base coming from India, and with many of our employers choosing to hire Indian freelancers above others, it was apparent that we should provide our Indian user base a more personalised experience on our site. Through Freelancer.in, our users are now able to transact in Indian Rupees. Freelancer.in also allows users to withdraw funds directly to their bank accounts in Rupees, providing convenience and saving them a lot of money. More local features will be made available soon."
