MSI990FXA-GD80 sets New Overclocking World Record

MSI has announced that the overclocking expert "TOYONE" from the Hungarian overclocking team "Extreme3d" has set a world record in Super PI 32M, using an MSI990FXA-GD80 mainboard and AMD FX-6100 on 2nd February.

The MSI990FXA-GD80 has elevated the computing performance of the FX-6100 processor to an extraordinary level and completed the Super PI 32M benchmark in just 12m 13sec 484ms, and achieved the second-highest score in the Super PI 1M with a time of just 11sec 813ms. The MSI 990FXA-GD80 is built with Military Class components, including Hi-c CAP, SFC (Super Ferrite Choke), and high-quality Solid CAP which are all built for high efficiency, high power and long lifetime.

These high specification components have met verification requirements of military standard MIL-STD-810G.The MSI 990FXA-GD80 also supports Click BIOS II technology which integrates both UEFI BIOS and Windows system tools with one interface, allowing overclockers to operate easily and adjust its overclocking settings with either BIOS or Windows.

Furthermore, Overclocker "TOYONE" adopts MSI 990FXA-GD80 with the AMD FX-6100 processor to renew SuperPI 32 Moverclocking records, and the score is outstanding.
