NEC adds CA Technologies Advanced Authentication

NEC Corporation and CA Technologies has announced that NEC will offer a new robust and scalable security solution as a cloud service that uses CA Technologies proven, cloud-ready advanced authentication technology.

The service is said to deliver a flexible security solution that helps operators and content / application providers address the need for multi-device, multi-service authentication. As smart phones and tablets continue to proliferate among business users and consumers, user identities become associated with multiple devices. As a result, carriers, corporations and governments need to streamline security and usability for their customers, employees and constituents across devices and services with a seamless and strong authentication system for both users and devices.
