Nokia launches NFC-enabled Bluetooth Stereo Headset

Nokia has launched its designed NFC-enabled Bluetooth Stereo headset, Nokia Luna, in India. Compatible with any Bluetooth mobile handset, Nokia Luna comes with its unique in-ear design and NFC capability.

Nokia Luna is tiny, weighs only 5 grams and comes with extra battery life, offering up to sixty days of standby and eight hours of talk time. It also features voice prompts to alert the user of battery life and walk them through pairing with a non-NFC phone. It can be easily paired with an NFC-enabled Nokia smartphone by just tapping the two devices together to share content. The advanced multipoint technology in Nokia Luna allows users to pair up to two phones at the same time.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
