With SMC7904WBRAS-N2 v2, computers on the LAN side can communicate and share the Internet access and files with each other wired or wirelessly. One of the main features SMC7904WBRAS-N2 v2 is the detachable 5dbi antenna which enables better and enhanced coverage area. The other key benefits and features of this modem are supposed to be the robust security and firewall protection from hackers which allows secure connectivity to the office and corporate network. The SMC7904WBRAS-N2 v2 includes a build in QoS engine, which allows network administrators to allocate network resource and to prioritize real-time applications like voice & video, to enable smooth Internet phone (VoIP) and lag-free online gaming. WMM (Wi-Fi Multimedia) delivers QoS to the wireless network, while IP QoS prioritizes outbound internet traffic.
