HP collaborates with Dolby

HP India has announced its collaboration with Dolby Laboratories (DLB), to offer world-class entertainment features in its new range of consumer notebooks. With the Dolby Advanced Audio v2 for cinematic surround sound, HP Folio 13 marks the latest in a series from HP, in order to connect with entertainment enthusiasts in the country.

"According to a recent research report1, 23 per cent of Indian youth said they spent more time listening to music, whilst 83 per cent said music formed a very important part of their lives. The youth in our country, a very significant part of our target audience, are, therefore, looking for best-in-class music capabilities even when it comes to their PCs," said Ranjivjit Singh, Chief Marketing Officer, HP PSG India.

As a part of this collaboration, HP has recently announced Folio 13 featuring up to 9.5 hours of battery life for enhanced listening time, strong security options and a solid-state hard drive for mobile experience along with Pavilion G Series that incorporates new styles and features.
