LynuxWorks, Inc. will be demonstrating the latest version of the LynxSecure hypervisor for key security specialists at the annual Security & Risk Management Summit hosted by Gartner.
The demonstration of LynxSecure is the first public exposure to the latest version, LynxSecure 5.1, which offers key new features for customers who are either building secure embedded systems or looking for additional security for endpoints or data centers.
The latest LynxSecure version will be demonstrated at the Gartner Security summit on one of the latest generation of endpoints, a Dell XPS13 Ultrabook, and will show new key features such as focus-based processor optimization, a new secure console for user interaction with the secure platform, and new virtual network support for increased inter-virtual machine communication. LynxSecure 5.1 is also the first version of LynxSecure that supports the 3rd Generation Intel Core processor family (previously known as Ivy Bridge).
Robert Day, VP, Marketing for Enterprise Security, LynuxWorks said, "We believe that the latest version of LynxSecure brings secure virtualization to a wider range of users, and we are expecting some interesting discussions with security experts at the Gartner Security Summit. The wide range of use cases for the LynxSecure 5.1 platform include securing endpoints, thin clients, multi-level workstations, and also server, appliance and cloud implementations in data centers."
