Oracle Campus Solution offered on Cloud 
Mahindra Satyam has launched Oracle Campus Solution offering on Cloud for higher education institutions in Malaysia. This is the first time that such a complete cloud-based service for student recruitment, enrolment, administration to student financial information management is being offered in the country. 
Under this offering, Mahindra Satyam will provide complete end-to-end solutions, including hardware, application software from Oracle, implementation services and ongoing management. Support services to customers will also be provided in a virtual Private Cloud Model. 
Ram Ramachandran, Vice-President & Business Head, Mahindra Satyam, ASEAN, said, “Cloud-based services are a prime focus for Mahindra Satyam and the launch of Oracle Campus Solution on Cloud plays a key role in expanding our market reach in Malaysia. This service – the first to be launched in the Malaysian market by an IT services company – will be delivered out of our Global Delivery Centre at Cyberjaya, Malaysia.”

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery. The favourable impact of M2M on job creation had already set in as seen by the arrival of the first set of start-ups in the areas such as agriculture, smart cities, healthcare and water management.” She stressed that NTP 2018 would be transformative in harnessing the full benefits of M2M communications.
