Technomad powers Audio for 'Song1'
WorldStage has staged an audiovisual project in cooperation with the Smithsonian’s Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden that brought multimedia artist Doug Aitken’s ambitious “Song1” piece to life across the Washington.
WorldStage selected Technomad to create an engaging multimedia event worthy of both the museum and Aitken’s artistic vision. The company also specified and installed Technomad PowerChiton waterproof amplifier modules to power the audio projections.
Joshua Weisberg, President, WorldStage said, “We specified Technomad because we wanted fully water-proofed, full-range boxes - and wanted to preserve some amount of stereo imaging. Using full-range boxes at specific locations allowed this to happen.”
