HP Pavilion P2 Desktop rolled out
HP has launched its power-efficient desktop, the HP Pavilion P2 that works on a 90W power adaptor, resulting in up to 60-70% less power consumption under normal usage conditions.
"With the onset of summers in India, consumers are facing regular power cuts, especially in the tier-II and III cities. To counter this issue, HP's newly-launched Pavilion P2 desktop consumes such low power that even a regular UPS can support this product with up to 1 hour of backup, for the uninterrupted computing experience," stated Vinay Awasthi, Senior Director, Products & Marketing, PPS, HP India.
"Part of HP's commitment to the environment is providing customers with products that leave minimal carbon footprint on the planet. This energy-efficient product, therefore, helps us achieve our broader goal of protecting the environment while remaining true to designing products that suit and benefit the consumers’ preference in every way possible," added Awasthi.
The HP Pavilion P2 Desktop comes in two versions - one with an Intel Pentium G630T Processor and the other with the Intel Core i3 2120T Processor along with built-in Vision Technology. In addition to these, this desktop is packed with all the essential features required for e-mail, social networking, homework, personal finances, and casual Web browsing.
