OCZ unfurls Synapse Cache Series 
OCZ Technology has launched its Synapse Cache Series 2.5" SSDs. The new Synapse SSDs are optimized for caching applications and leverages Dataplex cache software to dynamically manage the Synapse SSD in conjunction with standard hard disk drives (HDDs). 
"The industry has shown that it craves the performance advantages that SSDs provide. However, many users still value the high capacities associated with HDDs. We see the Synapse Cache SSDs integrated with Dataplex software as a big win for a large number of customers who value SSD performance but still require HDD capacity. This comprehensive caching solution prioritizes the recently used "hot" data on the Synapse Cache SSD, while "cold", less frequently used data is stored on the larger capacity HDD. Moreover, OCZ Synapse Cache SSDs are available in 2.5" SATA III 64GB and 128GB configurations.

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery.
