Logitech unleashes New Accessories
For easy and intuitive navigation of Windows 8, Logitech has announced new lineup of products. The company has launched Logitech Wireless Rechargeable Touchpad T650, Logitech Touch Mouse T620, Logitech Zone Touch Mouse T400, Logitech Bluetooth Illuminated Keyboard K810 and Logitech Wireless Touch Keyboard K400R rare each specifically designed to work with the Windows 8 touch interface.
The Zone Touch Mouse T400 delivers simple, easy-touch navigation with familiar point and click action with quick gestures on the full, smooth touch surface of the Touch Mouse T620.
While Logitech’s exciting new touch devices offer an ideal Windows 8 experience, the other mice and keyboards will continue to deliver performance and reliability in Windows 8.

The touchpad consists of one large touch-area with a glass surface that provides smooth gliding for greater gesture and cursor control. One can use left or right click anywhere on the surface of the touchpad, and it includes an embedded sensor to ensure precise tracking so navigation is fast and fluid. The Logitech Zone Touch Mouse T400 lets quickly and easily access popular elements of the operating system. It features a glass touch-surface that is designed for smooth horizontal and vertical scrolling with the fingers, and one can click anywhere on the front of the touch zone to go directly to the Windows 8 Start Screen to access the favourite apps.
To increase the keyboard’s usability in low-light conditions or at night, auto-adjusting illumination ensures the laser-etched key characters are always bright and easy to read. The keyboard also uses proximity detection to turn on the lighting when ones hands approach it, and automatically dims or brightens, depending on the amount of light in the room.....See More

DoT Secretary hints at making Draft NTP 2018 available in public domain soon

“A draft National Telecom Policy 2018 that is liberal and non-prescriptive in its licensing approach in Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is being given final touches. The policy should be in the public domain in the next two to three weeks for discussion and responses from stakeholders,” said Aruna Sundararajan, Secretary, Department of Telecom, Ministry of Communications. Aruna Sundararajan said, “M2M is the next big opportunity for India in terms of its impact and the quantum change that it will bring about in the quality of services and delivery. The favourable impact of M2M on job creation had already set in as seen by the arrival of the first set of start-ups in the areas such as agriculture, smart cities, healthcare and water management.” She stressed that NTP 2018 would be transformative in harnessing the full benefits of M2M communications.
