Su-Kam signs an MoU with Tata Power Delhi Distribution

Dhananjay Sharma, GM - Solar Business, Su-Kam, said, "Against its highest peak demand of 5,642 MW in 2012, Delhi produces only 1,345 MW, out of which 55% is coal-based. Localized renewable generation can reduce this shortfall. In the current scenario, Su-Kam is working aggressively towards communicating to the customers, the potential and feasibility of rooftop solar power solutions for homes and various institutions. The company has come up with a range of cost-effective solar solutions that would not only help customers in bringing down their hefty electricity bills through use of solar energy for domestic power generation but also give them an opportunity to reduce their carbon footprint."
As part of a larger move of escalating its ongoing energy conservation programme, Su-Kam is also sensitive to the aspect of Climate Change and is committed to introduce energy-efficient and greener technologies in its offices and manufacturing units. Su-Kam Power Systems Limited and Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (TPDDL) have reportedly signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), under which subscribers and employees of TDPPL can avail exclusive discounts on Su-Kam's Solar PV modules, roof top solar systems and other solar power backup solutions.
